Approach.

Our Approach: Phased Implementation of Business Capabilities.

Cloud P. Consulting engages with clients to enable project and portfolio management business capabilities using a phased implementation approach. This approach brings the right level of capabilities at the right time based on organizational readiness. The following graphic lists some common project and portfolio management capabilities as they align to key business disciplines.

We use this capability table to educate clients on capabilities that can be supported by the Microsoft Project Server platform, to facilitate discussions with clients to assess their current capabilities, and to create a roadmap for enhancement of their capabilities throughout our engagements.

Pro Tip: EPM Implementation Success Factors

Communication
Ensure that all stakeholders are informed & involved. Build consensus and ensure support from all stakeholders. Informed stakeholders can ensure a practical solution and champion the solution, thereby, increasing chances of success and adoption.

Data Consistency
Clearly defined processes, roles & responsibilities, and data requirements.
Critical in ensuring successful process and tool fit and integration. Essential in ensuring data quality and integrity. Decision makers should be able to use data to make ‘fact-based’ informed decisions.

Practical Solution

A solution that provides value and will be actively used by the group. A world class EPM solution on paper may not be adopted and will not provide value if it is not successfully rolled out and/or embraced.

Adoption
Ensure that the solution is used by client and is not just ‘shelfware’. The ‘phased’ project approach and ongoing participation of decision makers & users are essential in easing barriers to adoption.
